Professor Nik Nikolov hosts a free screening of the documentary "Archiculture" glimpse into the architectural studio. The documentary is architecture 101 for the general public presented by two designers turned directors who put the spotlight on architectural education. Featuring interviews with Maurice Cox, Thoma Mayne, Shigeru Ban, Kenneth Frampton and David Byrne.  


Following the screening join Professor Nikolov in room 208B for The Eastern PA Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for their Annual Design Charrette.  Students will be partnered with AIA members and Associate members to quickly generate and refine a design project based on a specific site and program requirements with a focus on sustainable concepts. Laptops with Sketchup will be provided, as well as ample amounts of trace. The teams' final designs will be judged by an impartial jury and the winning team(s) will receive awards. 


Light dinner with vegetarian options will be provided courtesy of AIA Associate members.
